Service Offering

Community service learning is an educational approach that integrates service in the community with intentional learning activities. It helps leverage the learning, passion and energy of youth as a way to develop real, practical knowledge for community organizations.  The initiative’s overall objective is to build community resilience, with the following key goals:

• to enhance the learning experience for both students, teachers and the community
• to create long-term commitment to community engagement for young people
• to support the development of knowledge about service learning.
